Adam Gilbert has had drumsticks in his hands since the age of four—starting out by breaking Tupperware, banging on pots and pans, and discovering an early obsession with rhythm.

That childhood spark grew into a lifelong passion and a global musical journey, allowing him to share his craft with thousands of people across many countries.

Adam began teaching in 2011 in several schools in Hilliard, Ohio, which eventually evolved into private lessons for students ages 8 to 45. He has also assisted multiple high school drumlines, bringing his experience and energy to developing percussionists. With a strong focus on rudimental technique and integrating those fundamentals into everyday playing, Adam creates a strong foundation for drummers of all levels.

In 2013, he joined the Columbus-based rock band Starset and began touring internationally—and he hasn’t stopped since.
